Bernardo M. Ferdman is an accomplished leadership and organization development consultant and expert facilitator who works with diverse groups and organizations to increase individual and collective effectiveness, inclusion, and participation. He has over 27 years of experience as a consultant, teacher, writer, and researcher on issues of diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion in organizations; ethnic and cultural identity; Latinos/as in the workplace; inclusive and mulitcultural leadership; cross-cultural communication; bringing one's whole self to work; and organizational behavior, assessment, and change.
He has served as President of the San Diego I/O Professionals, President of the Interamerican Society of Psychology, and Chair (2005) and Program Chair (2003) of the Gender and Diversity in Organizations Division, Academy of Management.
Professor Ferdman is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association (Divisions 9 and 45), a Charter Fellow of the International Academy for Intercultural Research, a Member of Diversity Collegium, Network Associate of AmericaSpeaks (www.americaspeaks.org), and Recipient of the 1991 Gordon Allport Intergroup Relations Prize. He also serves as Principal of Ferdman and Associates Consulting.
